Rodenburg Wins Golden Circle Award for Innovations in Circular Economy
We are thrilled to announce that Rodenburg has been honoured with the Golden Circle Award. This accolade, presented by the province of North Brabant, recognises our groundbreaking work in turning organic waste streams from potatoes, vegetables, and fruits into new, sustainable raw materials. The award affirms our leadership role in the circular economy.
“We are immensely honoured to receive this award. It confirms that the market is now ready for our sustainable solutions, which hasn’t always been the case,” said Thijs Rodenburg, our third-generation director. He also highlighted a shift in market sentiment:

Anne-Marie Spierings, deputy for Circular Economy Province of North Brabant, who presented the award, praised our long-standing commitment to circular entrepreneurship, dating back to our founder Arie Rodenburg. “Rodenburg has been a circular entrepreneur since 1945. Their focus on innovation and collaboration is exactly what we need to make our economy circular.”
