Rodenburg is a family-owned company in Oosterhout, founded in 1945. We have more than 80 years of experience working with renewable raw materials, such as potato starch. Today, Rodenburg is a group of companies, including Rodenburg Productie, Rodenburg Bioplastics and Rodenburg Tony Starch. Together, we work on plantbased solutions to replace oil-based materials.
At Rodenburg Productie, we produce plantbased products to offer industries more sustainable solutions. We process starches in our factory: by drying, mixing and extruding them. Our products are used in many different industries, like glues, coatings, etc.
The Rodenburg Bioplastics division focuses on biobased and biodegradable products to replace plastics which are based on fossil ingredients. Rodenburg bioplastics are often used in eco-restoration or horticulture projects: the products degrade in soil and water.
Rodenburg Tony Starch is the youngest division, Here we develop DAS: a platform molecule derived from starch. Used as a substitute for fossil-based and toxic chemicals in for example diapers, tissues or leather.
